i retroed these hid projectors into my headlights in May, 2003. they work great with a distinct cutoff line. i am in the process of making clear lenses so the fluted stock lens will not affect the light output. next retro i am using audi a6 or s4 projectors

i bought another set of projectors. I thought they were Audi RS6 but i now believe they are the BMW 7 series. The projectors are bi-xenon and made by hella. it was a bit of a pain because the selenoids were so large, i had to cut the bottom of the headlight housing to accomodate them. They are german spec e-code projectors and have a beutiful cutoff band of blue and purple. the only thing i'm waiting for are clear non-fluted headlamp lenses customed and shipping form egypt.

this shot gives a better look at the custom shroud i made. i couldnt find anyhting online so i made a set with less than 10 dollars worth of parts

mounting in the back, i had to seperate the base from the projector, and i also cut the whole backing of the housing out. i used screws to push against the housing and hold it/align it in place until the JB weld cured all around it. i applied silicone everywhere to provide a seal before applying the JB weld.
