leggendo (con difficoltà, mannaggia l'inglese ) altrove leggo di problemi con i freni della sivic....che ricordo essere una auto da pista per la strada
....
non son l'unico ad avere problemi (anche se meno gravi....)....tra 1 mesetto vedrò se il ring fregherà anche me
ps spero di non aver violato nulla postando una copia/quote proveniente da altro forum
ps2. i miei freni sono molto migliorati anche se si percepisce che qualcosa che non va c'è...sempre nel giro di breve al service cambierò anche le pastiglie

After pushing the Type R for two days on "The Ring" the brakes went bad. Looks like the discs have a temp Problem.
Its not because of the extra power I drive. I had this problem with stock conditions also. And its not because of my driving style.
I kown how to drive around the track. Doing this for more then 10 years now. Brake late and hard and as short as possible. So that brake gets not to hot and has time to rest. Thats always the Goal.
I did a braking-in on the pads and discs for at least 1000km. So, thats all fine....
The brake discs surface changes in some areas. And this makes the brake pedal and the front axle start to rattle and shake. Very nasty to drive.
Went to Honda and they want to replace it on garantee. So far, so good.
But as this happens again and again, I wonder if anyone here had or has the same problem.
I know a couple of Type R Drivers who have. And even a Honda dealer, that is driving in a national race series, confirmed, that front brake problem for the street Version of the Type R....
So, if you know what i am talking about, feel free to report your experience.
For all the others out there. Beware of this problem and keep it in mind, when going to the track.
I am working on a solution for this. Pads, Disc, more air to cool the brake down....will let you know.
